Who We Are

Tabitha Home is a formal care and transitional home for orphans and vulnerable children, located in Ibadan Oyo state, Nigeria. The home was born out of the desire to erase the stigma attached to vulnerable children status creating equality for them among their peers irrespective of their situations and circumstances.

Tabitha Home strives to provide an environment conducive to the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual health and well-being of the children. The focus is to rehabilitate and transform the children to lead fulfilling lives and have a positive future. In addition to school attendance, the children engage in socio-educative activities like drama presentations, debate, creative arts, poetry, book clubs, dance and spelling bees

All of this would not be accomplished without the efforts of donors, workers, volunteers and including our mum, Febisola Okonkwo, the founder of Tabitha Home, whose passion, drive and energy has been dedicated towards making this possible. The Home has grown over the past two years and currently caters for 47 children, ages 5-17, in nursery, primary and secondary school.

VISION
Our Vision is to support the development, empowerment and social integration of needy children towards self reliance and national development.
MISSION
